CLEAN OUT FOR CHRIST

The Clean Out for Christ workers have been hard at work for weeks now in preparation for the upcoming indoor yard sale. And what a sale this is shaping up to be! We have a number of vintage collectible items that will also be available at the sale. So, collectors are welcome!

We are thankful for the generosity of parishioners and friends of the parish who have donated so many wonderful items! From bicycles to books, couches to chairs, collectibles to crock pots, and so much more, we have such a huge variety of donations that are being cleaned, priced, tested and readied for the sale. Children's clothes. adult clothes, and lots of shoes are also available including some shoes NEW in the box!

Approximately a dozen ladies as well as our faithful Joseph Conte have stepped up to unbox donations, sort them by "department," test donations that have working parts, and eventually price everything. The next step is to re-box the merchandise until time to spread it out and get ready for the sale. These full workdays can be long and tiring but the fellowship and stories shared are priceless making it a true labor of love.

Donations will be accepted through Sunday, September 14th. See the flyer for a list of acceptable donations. PLEASE, no donations after this date as we will be working hard to get ready for the sale and will no longer be in "pricing, testing, cleaning and sorting" mode! If you have large items, please contact Desi Nelson by emailing her at desi@saintpatrickcc.com and she will advise on a drop-off date and time.

The sale will be held on October 3rd and 4th. Our sale will continue on Sunday, October 5th, with a huge Bargain Bonanza announcing prices you won't believe!

Plastic is accepted and the concession stand will be open for the duration of the sale serving breakfast and lunch items. All concession stand sales will benefit the Saint Vincent de Paul Society who help bring food to the tables of those in need.

All proceeds from the yard sale benefit St. Patrick Catholic Church.
