RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)

The RCIA is for those who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or experiencing a refresher course if you have been away from the church for a time. Classes usually begin around September of each year. Catechumens receive the sacraments at the Easter Vigil Mass in the Spring and continue in their bond in the few weeks following that initiation into the Catholic church.

Despite its formidable title, the RCIA is an informal learning process in a relaxed setting. Whether you are just curious or seriously interested in joining the Catholic Church, this class is what you're looking for. These sessions are taught by Fr. Anthony Weis. For more information or to sign up for these classes please call the church office at (205) 798-5326.
