Adult Faith Enrichment
"I am not a Catholic by accident or by culture or by inertia: I am a Catholic by conviction. I believe that contained within the very act of faith in Jesus is the Church, and that it is impossible to have Jesus, in individual isolation, without the Church." - Ralph Martin

Then they said to each other, "Were not our hearts burning (within us) while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?"    Luke 24:32

Faith Formation / Faith Enrichment at St. Patrick consists of multiple areas of study for adults.

  • An Adult Faith Enrichment study group is available to all parishioners and is held in the conference room beginning at 8:30 each Sunday morning.
  • Those who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith may join in the RCIA classes beginning the in Fall of each year. See the RCIA section for more information.
  • Even Vacation Bible School has a place for our adults! This is normally held during the month of July each Summer. Watch the calendar for more information and the current date scheduled.
  • Donuts and Doctrine is a study of Catholic doctrines and traditions, primarily through videos that explore a variety of topics.  Discussions and questions are welcomed but not required.  An easy and painless way to learn more about our faith.

The Faith Enrichment study group meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 am in the conference room.

An 11 week study is currently being studied entitled The Bible and the Sacraments.

What are the sacraments? Why do we do what we do in the confessional or at Mass? What's the point of baptizing a baby?

While Catholics know the sacraments are important, many never grasp how life-changing these "masterworks of God" really are.  Now they can.  The Bible and the Sacraments unveil the mystery of the sacraments and their foundation in Sacred Scripture.

Join author, speaker, and St. Paul Center Executive Director, Matthew Leonard, in this stunning, awe-inspiring series, in which the power of the sacraments come alive in a personal, new way.  All in all, you will experience the sacraments as you've never experienced them before!

The Bible and the Sacraments is part of the St. Paul Center for Theology's dynamic Journey Through Scripture Bible study series.  It is based upon Dr. Scott Hahn's bestselling book, Swear to God.
