Registration Form Aug 5 2006.pdf

Kirk Tuck, a young man known to many at St. Patrick and in the 78 West community, has been battling Acute Myelogenous Leukemia for almost a year and is back in the hospital at UAB.

He has spent months in treatment and some family and friends have organized a golf tournament to raise money for Kirk and wife Melissa Dunn Kirk's expenses during his lengthy illness.

Kirk Tuck is a former walk-on to the UAB football team who went on to earn a scholarship and start for three years at center. Part of the proceeds from this event will go toward the establishment of the Kirk Tuck Athletic Award, given to a walk-on football player each year at UAB.

A flyer containing a registration form and complete information on the golf tournament is attached under Related Documents above. The tournament will be held at Highland Park Golf Club beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 5.

Feel free to print out the flyer and registration form and distribute copies to friends who might be interested in playing or to companies who may wish to sponsor a hole or donate items or services to be given away as door prizes.

If you need more information or would like to donate items for door prizes, call Kay Allen at 205-428-4245.
