Congratulations and welcome to Nicholas Collins, Zachary Collins and Dalton Morrow who became First Degree Knights of Columbus on Tuesday, June 28 during a ceremony in the Knights of Columbus room.
Nicholas and Zach are third generation members of Council 10567. Their parents are Bryant and Deidre Collins and their grandparents are Bryant, Sr., and Vita Collins. Bryant, Sr. is a Past State Deputy of the Alabama Knights of Columbus and the First Degree was done in his honor.
Dalton is the son of Brother Knight Dennis Morrow and his wife Sherry and the brother of Brother Knight Dakota Morrow.
The ceremony was performed by Council 10567’s First Degree team and was witnessed by more than 25 Knights, including State Deputy Pete Parrish, Past State Deputy Bryant Collins and Field Agent Leo Romanick. First Degree team members and the roles they performed were Larry Cannon (Grand Knight); Dale Blanchard (Financial Secretary); Dwight Ingram (Warden); Gaeton Conte (Deputy Grand Knight); Chris Nieman (Chancellor); and Joseph Conte (Inside Guard).
