Many parishioners and volunteers came together on Sunday, October 14th in the Raymond J. Murrin Family Life Center to conduct St. Patrick's first annual health fair. Topics ranging from a healthy heart to hospice care, obesity to dental care, autism to cancer, family pet health to GI functions and more were the focus of many stations manned by experienced medical staff as well as individuals who had first-hand experience. There were screenings for diabetes, hypertension along with flu shots and pneumonia shots available for attendees. Our American Red Cross Blood Drive netted 13 units of blood contributed in honor of our military.
We would like to thank all who gave of their time and talents for this event, especially volunteers from outside the parish.
