Annual Lenten Day of Service Scheduled for March 7
A Day of Unselfish Labor for Church
The 8th Annual Lenten Day of Service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at St. Patrick.
More than 60 parishioners participated in last year's Lenten Day of Service, a day designed for church members to provide unselfish service to the parish through various work projects.
The service day was started in 2002 by the St. Patrick Family Life Committee and is being organized this year by Knights of Columbus Council 10567. Parishioner and Council member Rob Smith is in charge of planning the specifics, including lining up volunteers, determining the projects to be completed, and supervising the completion of those projects.
The Lenten Day of Service begins at 8:30 and will conclude with Mass at 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided. To take part in this great event, just sign up in the St. Patrick narthex in the coming days. You can also get more information or sign up by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
