On December 14, 2009, Laura Crandall Brown, lost her battle with ovarian cancer. She passed away at about 10:30 p.m. with family and friends surrounding her. No doubt she rests peacefully in the arms of Our Lord today. A link to her Caring Bridge site will remain here accessible by clicking here. You may continue to posts comments to the guest book as they will certainly be a comfort to her husband and family. A foundation has been set up as an effort to provide early detection and hopefully a cure for this disease. On March 11th, 2010, a new website was launched to further Laura's wishes that the fight go on. The Mission of The Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation is to provide funding in support of research in the early detection and treatment of ovarian cancer. It is imperative that we bring awareness and educate the public about this silent killer. By focusing on early detection - We have the chance to fight it, to beat it, to live! Visit the website by clicking here and sign up to help or to be notified of news and events as we raise awareness to this killer disease.
