St. Patrick Pastor Father Gray Bean is asking all parishioners to pray for an end to abortion and to pray that the abortion clinic on Southside be closed by the end of the year.
Father Bean's appeal to parishioners came in the wake of the 2nd Annual St. Patrick Pro Life Day held on August 18 and sponsored by St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council 10567.
St. Patrick parishioners opened the Pro Life Day with a Mass at St. Stephen the Martyr Church with Father Bean saying the Mass. The contingent then gathered at the abortion mill to pray four Rosaries to end abortion.
Father Bean said his goal is to have no abortion clinics open in the city of Birmingham.
