After many weeks of hard work, planning and execution, we celebrated the dedication and blessing of St. Joseph Parish Hall on Sunday, August 15, 2010. It was a great day indeed as our Bishop, The Most Reverend Robert J. Baker, celebrated Mass with us for the great feast of the Assumption of Mary. Father Vernon delivered a wonderful homily challenging us to take note of all the blessings we have in our lives. Afterwards, all joined together again in worship as we sang, listened to God's word proclaimed, prayed and witnessed the blessing of our newly renovated hall and kitchen.

The Bishop spoke of the importance of friendship and fellowship and commended our parish family for the many celebrations that have been held in this place. He prayed with us and for us as we look forward to "breaking bread" in future gatherings. Fr. Vernon thanked all who worked so hard in making the renovation a success.
