St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council 10567 received the Supreme Council Award for Family Activity at the recent Alabama State Convention held April 16, 17 and 18 in Mobile.

The award recognized the Council for its outstanding Renewal of Wedding Vows program that began in 2005 and is held annually. Fifty-nine couples have renewed their vows since the program's inception.

Council 10567 Grand Knight Mike Muro said, "There are 69 Councils in our state and it is a great honor for our Council to be singled out and recognized like this. We are very proud of our Renewal of Wedding Vows program. I want to thank all our Knights who have worked to make this program a success, especially Family Director Don Meadows, and to all of our great St. Patrick parishioners who have participated during the last five years."
