Father Gray Bean Concludes Procession and Begins Benediction

St. Patrick's parishioners, young and old, as the congregation at large and in special groups honored the Blessed Sacrament on Sunday, June 18th following the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

The adult choir led music for liturgy and the Knights of Columbus opened Mass with an honor guard provided by the Fourth Degree.  Immediately following Mass, the Knights led the congregation out and prepared for the procession.  Altar boys lit incense and Father Bean arrived with the monstrance containing the Eucharist.  The procession was led by a group of altar servers and followed by representative groups from the parish:  The Legion of Mary, SPIRIT (St. Patrick's Inspired and Religious Teens), the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of Columbus (Third Degree and Fourth Degree in full regalia), the Adult Choir and the congregation.  The procession spanned the full parking lot areas and re-entered the church.  Benediction ended this beautiful observance of the feast of Corpus Christ.  For a full presentation of photos taken, click here(NOTE:  Allow ample download time as this is a fairly large file.)

Thanks to the Knights of Columbus for provided organization and reverence to this blessed event.
