TSAL Letter about attending film.pdf

All SPIRIT Youth in Grades 9-12, and youth in the High School Faith Formation class who do not regularly attend SPIRIT events (although we wish you would!) are going to the movies Friday, January 22, 2010, to see the film To Save A Life.

To Save A Life is a full-length feature film opening nationwide January 22 that is specifically targeted to teens. Rated PG-13, the film deals with serious issues that most teens face, and it presents these issues not in a graphic way, but in a way authentic to too many teens' real lives. The film points to a way out of these problems through following God's path and reaching out to others.

Current St. Patrick High School Faith Formation classes are based on the film, and the film-based classes will continue through February 10.

For information on attending the film (including why it's rated PG-13), and for more about the film-based Faith Formation classes, please download the Related Document.  The registration deadline for attending the film is Wednesday, January 20, 2010.  Click here for a link to the Permission Form referenced in the Related Document, and contact Kevin Whitaker for the Ticket Order Form referenced in the Document.
