St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council 10567 is sponsoring a Family Night of food, fun, games and fireworks on Saturday, August 9 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Family Night is open to all Knights, Ladies Auxiliary and Columbian Squires and their families. The night of fun will begin at 5 p.m. in the Father Raymond J. Murrin Family Life Center. Food will be provided and there will be games for children and adults.

The highlight of the night will be a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m.

Council 10567's Family Night is being held in conjunction with the annual Knights of Columbus Family Week, held this year from August 9 through August 17. Council 10567 Grand Knight Ronnie Muro said, "The family stands at the core of the Knights of Columbus' beliefs and ideals as a Catholic, family, fraternal service organization. During this week, in which both the birth and death of our revered founder, the Venerable Servant of God Father Michael J. McGivney are commemorated, the Knights of Columbus members and their families gather to recommit themselves to the ideals of the great organization he established."

So that we will have enough food prepared, we are asking you to please RSVP if you and your family plan to attend. For more information or to RSVP, contact Mike Muro or Pam Black or send an e-mail to knights@saintpatrickcc.com.

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic lay organization. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families, and young people. With more than 1.7 million members in more than 13,000 Councils around the world, the Knights of Columbus annually donates more than $143 million and 68 million hours of service to charitable causes.
