The Supreme Knights of Columbus Council has announced that St. Patrick Council 10567 has earned the Columbian Award for the 2004 - 2005 fraternal year.
The Supreme Council said, "The award is given to those Councils who provided outstanding Service Programs for the 2004 - 2005 fraternal year. The Columbian Award is a tangible testimonial of the efficiency, industry and excellent activity programs of Council 10567."
Council 10567 Grand Knight Louis J. Muro said, "As I have said many times, our Council does not focus its attention on trying to win awards. But it is nice to receive this recognition from the Supreme Council. It is a tribute to a great group of men who fully understand the true meaning and rewards of personal service."

The Knights of Columbus ended the 2004 - 2005 fraternal year with 1,703,307 members, the highest year-end membership in the 123-year history of of the Knights. The Knights also ended the year with 12,767 Councils, also a new record. There are now 22,551 Columbian Squires in a record number 1,339 Squires Circles.
