Very productive day with some very dedicated parishioners
Saturday, March 7th, was the day that a large group of parishioners gathered to participate in the 8th annual Lenten Day of Service. After gathering in the St. Joseph Hall at 8:00 for prayer, teams assembled and reviewed the work to be done in the different areas of the campus. General cleaning of the interior of the church as well as the St. Joseph Hall, the SPIRIT room and Knights of Columbus room began as well as the classrooms in the Raymond J. Murrin Family Life Center. Some worked outside pruning and raking while others cleaned in the chapel. A crew prepared a delicious lunch of hamburgers fresh from the grill. Many finished the day by attending the 4:00 Mass.
Thanks to all who contributed to this year's event. Check out photo video. (Allow considerable time for video to begin playing as it is a fairly large file.)
